Role & Responsibility

The role and responsibility of the CTE Teacher Induction Coach/Mentor is to help guide CTE Credential Program Participants toward innovative practices through collaboration, mentoring, modeling, and reflection. The Coach/Mentor collaborates with CTE Teacher Induction staff to review and examine CTE Teacher Participant progress in the Teacher Induction Program and develops strategies to promote continuous growth and development. The Coach/Mentor provides feedback to CTE Teacher Participants in areas such as classroom management, implementing instructional strategies, analyzing student work, and instruction support and skills development to meet student needs.

Deadlines

The CTE TEACH Mentor course must be completed prior to meeting with Mentees. Please submit course completion certificate.
